ARTIST STATEMENT ON FREE DOWNLOADS
I am beginning a new blog site to offer free 8.5"x11" free downloads of many of my images including the most popular ones. They are available for you as 200 dpi resolution downloads. I create everything in 300 dpi, but downloading at that resolution would create very large files, bigger than most people want to download. I have them set up for 8.5"x11" for home printing. My idea in offering these free images is that you will want to have larger ones and will go to Zazzle where I make a small profit. Most of my pictures are designed to look best at poster size of 23"x34.5", but they also look good at smaller sizes. I have even made some into postage stamps which are also available on Zazzle.*******I can do custom orders. As I explain on my parent blog, many images can be done as murals; but I could design some as business card logos. The possibilities are endless. Use your imagination and let me make it real for you.

I am offering some designs as greeting and note cards including the insides. If you want them custonized, let me know. I figure that every card you send, every print you put on a wall, is free advertising for me; so feel free to share in a non-commercial manner. You can buy envelopes to fit the card sizes at any office supply store.

In offering these downloads, I am trying to give my art a wider exposure and give my customers free samples of my work. All rights are reserved. You may e mail images to friends and relatives or make copies for free, but that does not give you permission to reproduce for profit.

If you think you could print and market these images for profit, contact me to make arrangements for distribution. I would be happy to arrange marketing rights or to even work for a company already marketing cards, gifts, calendars and so on. I have many ideas for future designs and continue to improve. Anyone would be better off working with me than trying to steal from me, as I am affordable. I love creating the designs and want to make them widely availale at affordable prices.

I make my living operating a board & care home, so this is a sideline. I am, however, very productive and could fill most any design demands you might have. I would also be willing to work with other designers. I offer two tutorial blogs in which I show how to make the digital mandalas. I think this type of design is a natural outgrowth of the new digital technology and would like to promote its development and growth in general.

DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS
You may print an image directly by clicking on the print icon. There should be an arrow allowing you to choose options for portrait or landscape orientations, etc.

If you want to save the image for future use, right click on the image and choose save as in the drop down menu. These images are in jpg format and you should leave them in that for most purposes.

CALENDARS
I have created 7 calendar designs for 2010 and have them posted on my Zazzle gallery. Between the 7 calendars, I have posted 44 different images. I have them all posted here. You can download the 12 images you like the most plus one of several cover designs and put it on a CD. You can take that to your local print or copy shop and have it printed in their 11"x17" format.

Any of the horizontal 8.5"x11" images I post here can be suitable for a calendar whether or not they are part of my original 44 designs for that purpose.

GREETING CARDS & NOTECARDS

In addition, I offer notecard images and insides. With these, you get two to a page. You may want to puchase a small sliding-type paper cutter. Fiskars makes one I like. If your printer will allow it, print these as borderless in most cases for accurate alignment on the page. If you are new to this, it may take some trial and error. If I can assist, contact me by e mail.

About Me
- Bob Coyne
- For 28 years, I ran a board and care home for chronically mentally ill in Tucson, and really enjoyed the work; but creating art has always been a part of my life. I have worked in various media including oils and acrylics, stained glass, cloth and wood; but I have been concentrating on digital art for the past few years. I have never made my living with art, but I do take it seriously. I don't want to give up my care giving work, but some supplemental income will be helpful. I specialize in designs using flowers of the Arizona desert and think my creations reflect my appreciation for cacti and nature in general. Many of my designs feature mandalas, and I pray that all portray beauty and harmony. In 2012, I moved back to Maine after 31 years in Arizona. I grew up in Maine, and am happy to be back. I will continue to add to my Cactus Hugger designs reflecting the beauty of Arizona, but will be adding designs that come from an appreciation of the beauty of Maine and New England. I am continuing work in care giving, and always like to do gardening wherever I am. I now live in the country and have chickens. I plan to add milking goats and more.
